§ 8-2. International Existing Buildings Code.

  • (a)

    A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the city clerk, being marked and designated as the International Existing Buildings Code, 2009 edition, including appendix chapter B as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Existing Building Code of the City of Greenville for regulating and governing the repair, alteration, change of occupancy, addition, and relocation of existing buildings, including historic buildings, as herein provided, providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor, and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Existing Building Code on file in the office of the city and hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in subsection (b) of this section.

    (b)

    The following sections are hereby revised:

    Section 101.1 Insert: The City of Greenville

    Section 1201.2 Insert: December 1, 2005
